Your roast profile, built for repeat production

A successful wholesale programme needs more than one good sample. The second and third production runs need to follow the profile that you approved.

We record your approved roast under a named profile, allocate the underlying green coffee and cup each production run against a retained reference before release.

Your production specification can include:

  • Target Agtron colour
  • Green origin and grade
  • Arabica and robusta blend ratio
  • Whole-bean or ground format
  • Filter, espresso, moka, vending or kopi tubruk grind
  • Pack format and case count
  • Destination-specific label requirements

Who uses our custom roasting service?

  • Coffee brands without their own roastery

Launch a roasted coffee range using Indonesian coffee without investing in roasting, grinding and packing equipment.

  • Importers and distributors

Import coffee that is already roasted to the requirements of your retail, horeca, office or vending customers.

  • Roasters needing additional capacity

Move an existing profile to our production line when your own capacity is committed or when an Indonesian-origin programme is easier to roast near source.

  • Hotels, cafés and office suppliers

Develop a repeat house blend in retail, food-service or bulk formats, supplied under your brand or in unbranded packaging.

How custom roasting works

  1. 01

    Send your target

Send an Agtron number, roast curve or physical reference sample. Include the expected volume, brew method, grind, packing format and destination.

If you do not already have a profile, tell us the flavour, body and application you need. We will recommend suitable green components and a starting roast.

  2. 02

    Approve the sample

We prepare and courier a roast sample for evaluation. Profile matching is normally completed within one or two sample rounds.

You can approve the profile as supplied or ask us to adjust colour, development, blend ratio or grind.

  3. 03

    Confirm the production specification

Once approved, the roast is recorded under a named profile with its green origin, grade, blend components, Agtron target, grind and packing instructions.

The underlying green coffee is allocated against the programme so repeat orders are produced from a defined specification.

  4. 04

    Roast, check and dispatch

Each production run is roasted to the approved profile and cupped against the retained reference before release.

Coffee is packed with its roast date and lot number and dispatched within seven days of roasting.

Indonesian coffee available for custom roasting

Choose arabica, robusta or a blend from Sumatra, Java, Bali, Flores and Sulawesi.

  • Specialty and single-origin arabica

Available for light to medium profiles, filter programmes, single-origin retail lines and espresso blends requiring more origin character.

  • Robusta for espresso and vending

Available for medium-dark and dark profiles requiring body, crema, lower perceived acidity or a stronger bitter-chocolate base.

  • Custom arabica and robusta blends

Components can be blended before or after roasting. The origin, grade and percentage of each component are recorded on the production specification.

Roast profiles across the range run approximately from Agtron whole bean 36 to 68, depending on the coffee and intended use.

Minimum order quantities

Minimums apply per roast profile, not per total order.

  • Flores natural arabica: from 300 kg per profile
  • Most arabica and island robusta lots: from 500 kg per profile
  • Lampung and Kolaka volume robusta: from 1,000 kg per profile
  • Shipment and lead time

Several approved profiles can share one shipment. For example, an order may contain separate filter, espresso and dark-roast programmes, provided each profile meets its own production minimum.

Initial production normally takes two to four weeks after the profile and packaging are approved, depending on origin and green availability. Coffee is dispatched within seven days of the production roast.

Get pricing and request a roast sample

Tell us the coffee, roast target, volume, and destination. We will reply with a matching profile, current pricing, and sample options.

Submitting opens the request in your email app so you can review it before sending. We normally reply within one business day and use your details only for this enquiry.

Quality control from green coffee to finished roast

The consistency of a roast begins with the green coffee underneath it.

Every green lot is graded and cupped in Jakarta before it is allocated to a roast programme. Its grade, defect count, screen retention, moisture and cup result are recorded before production.

For repeat programmes:

  • The approved roast is retained as a reference
  • The green origin and grade are fixed in the specification
  • Blend components and ratios are recorded
  • Each production run is checked against the retained profile
  • Roast date, batch and lot number remain traceable
  • A fixed green allocation can be scheduled for recurring orders
  • When the green crop changes

If the crop changes and the original green is no longer available, we sample and approve the replacement before changing the production specification.

Whole bean, grinding and packing

Coffee can ship whole bean or ground at the point of packing.

Available grinds include:

  • Filter
  • Espresso
  • Moka
  • Vending
  • Kopi tubruk
  • Customer-specific commercial settings
  • Packing formats and private label

Packing options include 250 g and 1 kg one-way valve bags for retail and café programmes, plus 5 kg and 10 kg foil for horeca, vending and repacking.

Choose unbranded packaging or add private-label artwork, barcodes, certification marks and destination-specific label content.

Certified Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, 4C and Halal programmes are available on qualifying lots. Certification availability is confirmed before quotation and artwork approval.

Frequently asked questions

Matching profiles, minimums, grinding, packing, and lead times.

Can you match a roast that we already sell?

Yes. Send a physical sample, target Agtron number or existing roast curve. We prepare a comparison sample and adjust it until the production specification is approved, normally within one or two rounds.

Can you develop a new blend for us?

Yes. Tell us the brew method, target flavour, required body, expected price position and monthly volume. We recommend arabica and robusta components, grade and roast level, then send a sample for approval.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum is 300 kg for Flores natural arabica, 500 kg for most arabica and island robusta profiles, and 1,000 kg for Lampung and Kolaka robusta. The minimum applies separately to every roast profile.

Can you grind the coffee before shipping?

Yes. Coffee can be ground to filter, espresso, moka, vending or kopi tubruk specification at the point of packing. For commercial equipment, tell us the machine and brew method so the grind can be set accordingly.

Can the coffee be packed under our brand?

Yes. We can pack in 250 g, 1 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg formats using your approved artwork. Unbranded packaging can also be used while printed film is being prepared.

How long does the first order take?

Allow two to four weeks after the roast profile, green allocation and packaging are approved. Timing varies by origin and packaging requirements. Finished coffee is dispatched within seven days of roasting.

Can you supply repeat monthly volume?

Yes. Recurring production can run against an allocated green contract and agreed monthly schedule. The named roast profile, green specification and packing instructions are retained for reorders.

Which shipping terms are available?

Roasted programmes can be quoted FOB or CIF from Indonesia, with DAP available for qualifying destinations. The quotation confirms the loading point, destination, shipping format and applicable export documents.
