Every green lot cupped by two Q Graders to the SCA protocol before it is offered, with 300 g green and 1 to 2 kg roasted samples shipped by air before a contract.

How buyers use these programmes

When should a buyer book contract roasting instead of green?

Book contract roasting when you sell finished coffee but do not own a roastery, or when your own capacity is committed and a line needs covering. We roast to your target Agtron or reference sample, hold the approved profile with a fixed green allocation, and dispatch within seven days of roast. Minimums are 500 kg per profile on arabica and island robusta and 1,000 kg on the volume robusta lots. If you do roast in house, buy the green instead: you keep control of the profile and the freshness clock starts in your own warehouse.

How does a first private label coffee run work?

You send artwork and the label content required by the destination market, we proof it, clear any certification mark usage with the certifier, and print the film. The first production run then follows the normal roast lead time of two to four weeks depending on origin. Reorders are faster because the film and the named roast profile are already held, so only the green allocation is scheduled. Minimums are per roast profile rather than per order, so a medium and a dark version of the same coffee count as two.

What does a pre-shipment grading report actually cover?

For arabica: a 300 g defect count under SCA green grading, the SNI 01-2907 grade, screen retention measured on sieves, moisture on a calibrated meter, and the cupping score from two Q Graders. For robusta: defect values under SNI 01-2907 with the contracted grade named, the screen designation stated separately as EK-1 or screen 13 up, and the same moisture verification. The signed sheet travels with the container and the retained type sample lets you cup the arrival against what you approved. Independent surveyor inspection at the loading port is available when your terms require a third party.

Which documents do EU coffee buyers need from an Indonesian supplier?

Beyond the commercial set, EU importers are collecting producer or cooperative identity and growing area per lot to support due diligence statements under the EU deforestation regulation, Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, which covers coffee. We record those fields at the mill rather than reconstructing them at shipment, and we attach transaction certificates for Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, or 4C where the lot carries them. Lock the document checklist at enquiry stage, because adding a field after stuffing usually means the information no longer exists.

Can you match our existing house roast profile?

Yes. Send a target Agtron number, a roast curve, or a reference sample and our roastery matches it, normally within two sample rounds. The approved profile is then held under a name with a fixed green allocation, and each production run is cupped against a retained reference before release so the second batch tastes like the first.

What is the minimum order for private label coffee?

500 kg per roast profile on arabica and island robusta, 1,000 kg on our Lampung and Kolaka robusta, and 300 kg on the Flores natural lot. The minimum is per profile rather than per order, so a medium and a dark version of one coffee count separately. Printed film is held after the first run, so reorders need no new setup.

How do samples work before a first contract?

300 g green samples or 1 to 2 kg roast samples ship by courier, and the cost is credited against the first order. Do you provide a grading report before shipment?

Robusta lots carry SNI 01-2907 defect values, the contracted grade, the EK-1 or screen 13 up designation, and moisture. The signed sheet travels with the shipment, and independent surveyor inspection can be added at the loading port.

Which certification documents can you attach to a shipment?

Organic to EU and NOP standards, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, 4C, and Halal (BPJPH), matched to the physical lot on the packing list, plus ISO 22000 covering our Jakarta warehouse and grading operation. Transaction certificate numbers travel with the goods, and validity dates are confirmed on the sales contract before booking.
